Policies

Minimum Night Stays:

Four night minimum stay Dec 20, 2017 to Dec 25, 2017

Five night minimum stay Dec 26, 2017 to Jan 4, 2018.

Four night minimum stay Mar 7, 2018 to Mar 21, 2018.

Three night minimum stay Presidents Day weekend & MLK Day weekend

Two night minimum stay all other times.

Deposits:

Deposits are 50% of the stay, and are charged at the time the reservation is booked. The remaining balance will be charged 30 days before date of arrival. Reservations made less than 30 days before arrival require 100% of stay on a credit card at the time of booking. We accept American Express, Visa, Master Card and Discover.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations 31 days or MORE before arrival: 90% of deposit will be refunded. 10% handling fee is non-refundable.

Cancellations 30 days or LESS before arrival: NON-refundable; NO deposit refund, NO balance refund, unless we can re-rent the same unit for the same dates and price. If we can re-rent for full stay, cancelling guest will receive 90% of all monies processed. 10% handling fee is non-refundable. If we re-rent for a shorter stay than the original reservation, cancelling guest will receive a refund for the rented days only, minus 10% handling fee.

There are NO refunds due to weather conditions, ski conditions, late arrivals or early departures. There are NO refunds due to illness or physical injury. You may purchase travel insurance to cover such possibilities. Sierra Del Sol does not provide travel insurance or recommend specific insurance carriers. We advise our guests to do their due diligence and research the matter themselves.

No Pets/No Smoking Policy:

These units have been rented to you with the understanding that there are to be no pets and no smoking on the premises. Should these violations occur, your party will be charged $150 and may be required to immediately vacate the premises without a refund.

Check-In/Check-Out:

Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. These times are strictly enforced to ensure that we can fully prepare the unit for the next guest. All luggage must be removed from the unit at the time of check-out. Early check-ins and late check-outs in all cases require prior approval. Unauthorized late checkouts will be charged $150.00.

Keys:

If you are arriving after office hours, you will find an envelope with your name on it posted on a clip outside of the office front door. There will be one key inside and a map locating your unit. Please check-in and register with us in the morning, at which time you can ask for additional keys.

On-site Parking:

One complimentary parking space per unit. Additional parking is available in the Taos Ski Valley parking lot.

Occupancy:

Lofts are strictly for the use of children under the age of 13.

This unit has been rented to you with a set maximum number of occupants. Should you increase the number of persons (including children) to more than the stated maximum, you will be in violation of your reservation. You may be asked to immediately vacate the property with NO refund.

If a large party gathers without prior disclosure to the management and complaints are received by the management from other guests, you may be asked to immediately vacate the property with NO refund.

For the sake of other guests, please limit noise and activity after 10:00 P.M.

Damage & Cleaning:

Your unit will be inspected after your departure. If any damages have occurred, additional cleaning is needed, or items are reported missing, you will be charged according to the actual damages, cleaning cost and cost to replace or repair such items. We will charge your credit card that is on file from your reservation. Should the owner have to sue for damages, the guest will be responsible for all court costs, damages and attorney fees.

Housekeeping:

Trash removal and towel exchanges are provided daily for guests staying 3 or more nights during ski season. Midweek cleaning and linen changes will be provided for stays 6 nights or more. This includes sheet changes, fresh towels, clean bathrooms and trash removal. Housekeepers do not wash dishes. Please load any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn on prior to departure. Please also bag all trash and leave in condo.

Hot Tub/Dry Sauna:

The hot tub and dry sauna are open 12-9pm daily during ski season. Children 6 – 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Children 12 + years of age are allowed with appropriate behavior. It is necessary from time to time that maintenance is required, resulting in the closure of the hot tub. There will be no refunds due to the closure of the hot tub.

HD Direct TV/Wireless Internet:

These services are provided in each condo at no cost to the guest. There will be no refunds if these services are inoperable due any unforeseen reason such as weather, maintenance, or technical difficulties

Waiver of Liability:

Sierra Del Sol, the owners or their Agents, and employees will not be held liable or responsible for personal injury, accidents, loss of life, valuable or personal property due to fire, theft, neglect, power outages or any catastrophe or natural disaster which may occur. If the property becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Sierra Del Sol will do what it can to provide alternate accommodations.

Sierra Del Sol will make every reasonable effort to have any malfunctioning appliances (dishwashers, televisions, etc.) repaired during the stay, but no refunds for inoperative appliances will be offered or expected.
